Recently many crypto platform are being threatened by hackers, who are sending phishing address to individual registered data in order to gain access to their privacy.
Early January they hacked some Trust Wallets account by sending a phishing address to individual, which when they click, will lead them to a cloned website where they were asked to put their details to receive an airdrop or have some technical challenges they were facing solved.
Some went to the length of disclosing their 12 phrase wallet security, which gave the hackers access to wipe all their investment.
Advice: If you suspect any threat on your Trust Wallet account, the best way to save your investment is to create another address and generate another 12 word phrase security. After, you transfer your fund to the new account and delete the former. That will prevent the intruder access to your fund, but that has to be done before your fund is moved by the intruder, because if he/she does, your fund is gone forever.
Hackers new strategy is sending phishing address to social media network, asking their victims to subscribe for bonuses or gift card and also airdrops. The address comes with a get information program, which is installed in individual computer or mobile phone browsers, with which the hacker can get information of the victim password.
Some discord server was bridged with the same method, and gave the hackers access to infiltrate some big companies Discord server.
